Apex Beauty Academy has been officially selected as a partner institution in the North Carolina Workforce Development Initiative (NC WDI), a state-funded program designed to help career-changers and displaced workers gain in-demand skills at little or no cost.

Through this partnership, eligible North Carolina residents can access full or partial funding for our Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology programs. Priority is given to individuals who have been laid off, are transitioning from other industries, or meet income-based eligibility criteria.

Who Is Eligible?

  • NC residents who have experienced job loss or significant income reduction
  • Individuals receiving unemployment benefits
  • Those transitioning out of declining industries (retail, hospitality, manufacturing)
  • Veterans and military spouses

Apex's Admissions Coordinator will guide eligible applicants through the NC WDI application process at no charge. This is a meaningful opportunity and we encourage anyone who might qualify to reach out immediately β€” funding is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
